    Q1: May I ask what brand of Chromebooks you purchased last year?

    A1: Our last purchased model was HP Chromebook Fortis G11

     

    Q2: Are there any special delivery instructions, such as requiring a lift gate or inside delivery? 

    A2: Jefferson School District does not have a loading dock. The delivery truck will require a lift gate and pallet jack to move the pallets to the delivery location.

     

    Q3: Additionally, could you please confirm the delivery address for this bid?

    A3: 1219 Whispering Wind Dr. Tracy, CA, 95377

     

    Q4: With the due date listed as 11/7 and quotes needing to be valid for 60 days from that point; this brings us into January of 2026. Are there specified dates on when the winning bid will go to board for approval and when a purchase will be made?

    A4: The selected vendor will be presented to the Board during our November 18, 2025 Regular Board Meeting for approval. If approved, the purchase will be made shortly after. We should have no problem getting a PO generated before the end of 2025.

     

    Q5: One question I had off the top of my head is when do you need delivery by? Would Q1 of 2026 be acceptable or did you need these Chromebooks ASAP?

    A5: We would like to receive these ASAP as we are seeing a high failure rate of the devices these will be replacing. That said, Q1 2026 is acceptable.

     

    Q6: Can I quote multiple options for you to review? 

    A6: Only the lowest-cost option that meets the required specifications will be considered. Please submit your most competitive proposal.
