Elementary and middle school students excel in solving non-routine problems at two annual San Joaquin County Math Tournaments.

The Mathematics Department hosts the Annual San Joaquin County Math Tournament at the San Joaquin Office of Education. All elementary schools and junior high, public or private, are welcome to compete. This is an excellent way for schools to promote excellence in math, raise student test scores, increase student self-esteem, develop problem-solving skills, and finally, hone both competitive and cooperative skills.
