The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program provides additional opportunities for student learning and support beyond the regular school day.

Extended School Year Summer Program (ESY)
Jefferson Elementary School District offers an Extended School Year, or ESY, program. ESY reviews math and English language arts and helps prepare students for the upcoming school year. The program is offered through in-person learning.
Registration packets will be sent home in the spring to all students who qualify or who have ESY in their Individualized Education Program (IEP). If your student was recommended for ESY, please submit your registration packet as soon as possible to your child’s school office or the Jefferson Elementary School District Office.
It is important that students attend daily and arrive on time. Snacks and lunch will be available, and students may receive a free meal each day.
If you submitted an application for ESY transportation, there will be no charge, but space is limited. You will receive confirmation and additional information regarding designated bus stops and pick-up/drop-off times.

Summer School
Jefferson Elementary School District will not be providing summer school during the 2024–2025 school year.
